Hello, I am a high school junior and I'm conducting an experimental research study on "Left Digit Bias" for my AP Research class. This bias essentially describes the tendency for people to be more likely to underestimate prices that end in an odd price like .97 or .49 than a similar price ending in .00 or .50. The purpose of designing this website is to tap into people’s intuition of the price of common items. Each price is altered by a small to a large percentage, and your objective is to guess which one gives them a larger discount from the real price.
